Motorbike Scottoiler Automatic Lubrication System

Scottoiler
Every biker in the world will have heard at some point from either a fellow biker, mechanic, or guys on forums about how important it is to keep your chain properly maintained and lubricated. While some of these people even go as far to say that your chain should be checked and lubricated every time you ride which in my experience is way over the top- Click here to get your Scottoiler kit

But if your chain maintenance does mean that much to you, let me tell you about a little piece of kit that I have used on my motorbikes for many years now… automatic chain oilers. Whilst I have tried many chain oilers, I have found that Scottoiler systems always seemed to out perform the other in some way or another but usually down to pure simplicity.

As an introduction to exactly what a scottoiler chain lubricating system does it is easy enough to say that is lubricates your chain whilst you ride, and increases the amount of oil released depending on either the speed of your engine, or the speed you are riding at depending on the kit your have got.

Scottoiler offer a kit for pretty much every budget and they have also recently released some bike specific models to meet customer demands with bikes that either have limited storage for the oil container, or require specialist mounting set ups for example the Honda Africa V twin kit that has recently been launched and is available here:

The most popular scottoiler kit from their range is the standard V-System kit which was also one of their first automatic chain lubricating products, and has proven to be a huge success thanks to it’s great value price tag and simplicity. The V-system is an electronic free kit which removes any risk of issues fitting it in to your existing wiring loom, and instead it uses a vacuum pipe directly from the engine to pump the correct amount of oil required directly on to your chain whilst you ride, giving you total peace of mind that your chain is always wet and ready to go!
